Das wird wohl dieses Jahr nichts, dafür bekomme ich ja im Juni als Geburtstagsgeschenk Besuch von meiner lieben Freundin Lotta und im November werde ich ein paar Tage in Basel verbringen, hier. Trotzdem möchte ich so schnell wie möglich zurück (hin...) nach Finnland. Und da ich ja auch ein paar Finnland-related-blogs lese habe ich heute einen Text gefunden, der relativ gut mein Verhältnis zu meiner Zweitheimat widerspiegelt. Ihr dürft beim Lesen gerne Finnland oder Rantasalmi für Helsinki einsetzen... Ich könnte es wohl nicht so gut in Worte fassen...
Also.. Will jemand mit mir nach Finnland dieses Jahr? Bevorzugt im Juli, da war ich noch nie drüben und das obwohl da die Erdbeeren reif sind... ;)
Edit: Wo wir grade beim Thema Fernweh sind... Vielleicht ist das hier ja auch eine Idee...

I had the phone interview for Hannover today and had to speak German part of the time. They were impressed with my cv but I think they'll prefer to hire some native speaker. But that's ok because the internship is not the ideal one for me either (although I would gladly take it if it came to that). I have an interview for Düsseldorf tomorrow and am hoping something will come out of that (and that the position is better for me time-wise etc.). I would tell you to keep your thumbs up but I know that's not what you do there, so instead please press your thumbs!
I so look forward coming, with bag full of chocolate, cider and perhaps some sausage for the grill? :D And I really need a break from work, visiting you will be a total relaxation.
And I speak so little German anymore!! Sara should learn Finnish, so I could talk to her :D
It would be great to have you here in Finland for some time too, I have two more weeks of Holiday in middle of July and I will spent it in Rantasalmi or nearby.

I got the internship at Continental in Hannover!
However, I now might actually prefer the one in Düsseldorf, so I asked if it's ok if I let them know next week and it was.
But I'm so excited! I'm coming to Germany anyway!
