Ich kann leider kein bisschen Handarbeiten. Zwar habe ich in der 5. oder 6. Klasse mal ein wenig Textilunterricht gehabt und da auch mal mit ner Nähmaschine gearbeitet, aber das ist ewig her. Ich erinnere mich also nicht im Geringstens an das Gelernte und eine Nähmaschine besitze ich (leider) auch (noch) nicht.
Jetzt aber habe ich wirklich, wirklich Lust bekommen mit dem Nähen anzufangen. Ich lese in einigen blogs öfter von Näh-und/oder Stickprojekten. Dieses Kleid hier finde ich einfach wunderschön und würde es soo gerne für Sara nähen. Mal sehn wann ich dazu komme. Wäre doch wirklich schön Sara ein Kleid zu schenken, dass ich selber genäht habe. Den Schnitt gibt es hier, da sind auch einige echt schöne andere Sachen dabei. Und die vielen tollen Stickdateien... Leider braucht man dazu nicht nur eine Nähmaschine sondern auch gleich noch ne Stickmaschine *seufz*

I don't want to depress you, but just want to say that I had sewing with a sewmachine at school from around 3rd grade until 7th/8th and I'm still terrbile at it! But I was always really bad with all handicrafts! I did manage to make a skirt, pants and a shirt for myself at that age, so actually it can't be THAT difficult but it also isn't as easy as it seems! Especially if you want the end result to look somewhat decent... It also takes time, but I guess that's something you have more than my friends on average (of whom none really sew clothes, even though they were heaps better at it than I at school!).
I don't know a lot about sewing, but concerning the dress I would guess the hood would be the most difficult part, otherwise the dress looks pretty simple.
Also, next summer you can probably have a look at some sewing magazines Lotta has. Those have a lot of "Schnitt" (kaavoja), nice ones for children too! Don't have to pay 6e for them :P
Kommst du Cuxhaven, der Popa kann gut nähen und hat auch Maschine.
Du bringst Stoff und Schnittbogen ich klöppel das zusammen.
Sticken mit der Hand macht auch gross Spass. Kann ich zeigen.
